About the Role

As Controller, you'll be the financial backbone, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all financial operations. You'll be a key member of the plant management team, driving performance, enforcing strong internal controls, and applying economic rigor to decision-making. Plus, you'll lead a team of 4 direct reports and manage the unique accounting requirements tied to U.S. government contracts.


? What We're Looking For

  • Manufacturing experience - REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 8+ years total experience
  • Proven leadership managing 4 direct reports
  • ERP & Forecasting Systems experience (Epicor & OneStream preferred)
  • Full-scale accounting knowledge: reporting, controls, budgeting, processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the California finance team in accounting, job costing, and inventory validation
  • Oversee monthly accounting processes, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with strategic objectives
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and government contract requirements
  • Drive financial analysis to optimize cost and margin performance
  • Coordinate audits and internal controls
  • Manage month-end close, account reconciliations, and performance reporting
  • Support contract negotiations and capital spending justifications
  • Champion continuous improvement and talent development within the finance team
